This course is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to perform the essential lifesaving technique of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
This unit applys to all workers who may be required to provide CPR in a range of situations, include community and workplace settings.
The face to face training is 2.5 hours and covers both theory and practical aspects of CPR Training.
Students are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the course commencement or will be refused entry.
Note: You must supply a copy of your current certificate as confirmation.
On successful completion of the course participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the nationally accredited course - HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
Certificates are emailed following each course.
The CPR certificate is valid for 12 months. Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills are refreshed annually.
No prerequisites for this course. Students must be at least 14 years of age at the time of attendance.
