This popular training program provides a learning approach with a balance of theory and practical components. The theory is demonstrated to participants in a project team environment through practical activities designed to reinforce the learning outcomes. Within each module, learners examine each of the project management knowledge areas found in "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge". Also examined throughout the course, are soft skills including leadership and negotiation that have been proven to be essential for project success.

  • Project roles and responsibilities
  • Alignment to strategic objectives
  • Initiating and scoping a project
  • Planning a project
  • Executing and controlling a project

  • A Living Planit Certificate of Successful Completion
  • Living Planit's suite of project management templates for use on personal and/or work projects
  • Training materials for ongoing reference
  • PDU and CPD points toward maintaining PMI and AIPM certification respectively

Prerequisites:

Newcomers to project management or practicing project practitioners who wish to refresh their knowledge of fundamental project management concepts, tools and techniques.
