- Identify implications of all sources of change to managing OHS and provide advice regarding those changes
- Evaluate the effectiveness of your approach to managing OHS within the business context
- Determine the legal framework of OHS in the workplace and provide required advice on OHS compliance
- Ensure that compliance with legal requirements is continuously adhered to and report incidents of non-compliance

Module 2:Outcome
- Investigate incidents for prevention of further or similar incidents in the workplace
- Access existing sources of information and data to identify hazards to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for all employees
- Conduct hazard Identification activities
- Assess risk at different levels associated with these activities
- Participate in implementing required changes to existing systems, processes to ensure minimisation of risk
- Develop options for risk control and select appropriate options for the environment in which you operate to control risks
- Contribute to the implementation of controls and to monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of controls
Module 3: Outcome
- Identify potential emergencies that are appropriate for the organisation
- Identify options for initial response as well as how to plan the initial response procedures
- Implement initial response procedures that are relevant
- Contribute to post event activities to ensure on-going OHS management
- Monitor emergency responses and address deficiencies that could occ
Module 4: Outcome
- Work with procedures to raise OHS issues at the appropriate levels of the organisation
- Develop procedures for communicating OHS information and data
- Communicate OHS information, data and advice effectively to influence management decision making and ensure that action is taken
- Ensure that OHS remains a primary focus for the organisation
- Create and deliver presentations on OHS that influence others to change their behaviour to ensure on-going compliance
- Understand the process of communicating key messages in an effective way so that employees have heightened awareness
Module 5: Outcome
- The key ingredients for managing projects that reach successful outcomes
- Create project time lines that are reasonable and that create positive progress to conclusion
- Understand how to work through all the phases of projects from initiation to evaluation
- Learn more about projects that have been successful and what factors influenced their success
- Know how to develop a project team and communicate objectives to them
- Receive practical tips and guidelines that ensure your project comes in on target
Module 6: Outcome
- Use problem solving techniques to bring all participants into a framework of consultation and collaboration on key OHS issues
- Learn how to brainstorm and think outside of the square to identify different approaches to OHS that are appropriate for the business
- Identify opportunities for improvements and innovation to motivate teams to move beyond the usual way of doing things
- Conduct a program wrap-up and ensure that all evidence is correctly presented for assessment purposes
