Overview: This two day program offers people a simple and practical model for developing and maintaining relationships with team membes,co-worker and managers.We explore key communication skills such as listening, body language, asking questions, giving feedback and ensuring that we communicate a clear message. We then discuss the nature of conflict and how to create harmonious working relationship.
Business Communication is an intensive course involving role plays, case studies and plenty of opportunities to practice skills such as listening, questioning, giving feedback and handling difficult situations.
By the completion of the course you will know how to: Understand the communication process and the barriers that occur at each of its stages Understand the source of miscommunication and how to minimise its occurrence Analyse personal communication channels and communication styles and the impact they have on others Deliver a clear message that is understood by the receiver Increase the effectiveness of listening skills and minimise listening barriers Establish the different types of questioning and the advantages and disadvantages of thier use. Send effective and appropriate e-mail messages Explore the benefits of providing effective and regular feedback Increase your competence and confidence when managing difficult situations Increase your ability to communicate assertively with other people.
