Self-Awareness
Discover several models that help you understand and predict human behaviour. Explore personality preferences using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and undertake several activities so that you can see your preferences, and those of others, in action.

Working Under Pressure
Examine your behaviours when stressors escalate to high levels and your performance declines or relationships are impacted. Practice multiple strategies for self-management and explore mindfulness techniques. An optional yoga session complements this discussion.

Influencing Skills
Explore how to get the best use out of your existing power sources and develop a plan for improving your ability to influence others over whom you do not have direct authority.

Communicating with Confidence
Understand your role in the communication process and use a practical model that assists in building constructive conversations, even under difficult circumstances. Explore how unhelpful thinking interferes with effective communication.

Negotiation Skills
Gain negotiation tools and techniques that enable you to achieve your objectives while building and protecting ongoing relationships. Explore ways in which you can negotiate assertively to achieve deeper levels of influence.

Let’s Talk Finance
Cut a path through the myriad of accounting techniques and terminology, to furnish you with the capacity to understand the implications of the key financial indicators of your own financial reports.

Evening Sessions
Practical application of the day’s learning will be extended to evening sessions. You will be asked to find solutions to challenges raised by fellow participants. Your program presenters, Wendy Grusin and Sally White will act as coaches during this process and provide feedback and insight into problem-solving techniques.
